EXTERIOR PAINTING
EXTERIOR PAINTING BUILT FOR BEAUTY AND LASTING PROTECTION
Your exterior finish defines the character of your property and protects it from sun, moisture, salt air, and seasonal weather. CSI Custom Paint combines careful preparation, proven application methods, and premium coating systems to deliver an exterior that looks refined and performs for years across Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, and Salinas.
COASTAL CONDITIONS DEMAND THE RIGHT PREPARATION
Homes throughout Carmel, Pebble Beach, and the Monterey Bay area face challenging exposure. Before painting, we evaluate peeling coatings, chalking, cracks, open joints, mildew, weathered wood, rust, and other conditions that can shorten the life of a finish. We then build the preparation around what the property actually needs—including washing, feathering edges of sound paint, replacing failed caulking, and treating bare wood or exposed metal with compatible primers before finish coats are applied.
EVERY SURFACE RECEIVES THE RIGHT SYSTEM
Stucco, wood siding, trim, doors, metal, and masonry do not perform the same way and should not be treated the same way. We match primers, sealants, and finish coats to each substrate and its exposure. Our premium stucco proposals include masonry primer, a Sherwin-Williams ConFlex elastomeric stage, and compatible exterior finish systems—sprayed and backrolled to work material into texture. Wood trim, fascia, beams, and walking surfaces receive their own dedicated, durable specifications.
CLEAN LINES, CAREFUL PROTECTION, PROFESSIONAL OVERSIGHT
Landscaping, roofs, windows, fixtures, hardscape, and neighboring surfaces are carefully protected before coatings are applied. Our team maintains an orderly site, communicates progress daily, and pays close attention to transitions, trim details, doors, and architectural accents. We inspect for coverage, sheen consistency, and clean lines before completing turnover.

Hairline and non-structural cracks can often be repaired as part of the preparation process. Larger or recurring cracks may require further evaluation before coating.
-
We monitor temperature, moisture, wind, and manufacturer requirements. Application is scheduled only when conditions are suitable for the specified products.
